WHY DO WE HAVE POLICIES?
All schools are required to have a clear set of policies and procedures. Some are required in order to comply with Government legislation, such as Health and Safety others are more specific to the school.
Policies and procedures assist schools to make good decisions that optimise well being. The policy intention is transformed into action by school staff, governors, parents, students and the wider community, working together to benefit the learning potential of each child.
