Dan Freedman

Born in London in 1977 Dan did work experience at Arsenal FC, Radio Five LIVE, Carlton TV, The Mail on Sunday and Sky Sports. In 2000, after graduating he became Editor of The FA. He also writes all the programmes for England matches and The FA Cup Final.

It was when Dan wanted to buy a present for an 11 year-old football mad boy that the idea to write the book  "Kick Off" struck. There didn't seem to be a football novel for kids. He couldn't understand it. He knew that if someone had given him one when he was 11 that he probably would have read it in two days flat. He also knew that writing about football was something that he could do. So he did it.
